About SAGA

What is the Student Association General Assembly?

The Student Association General Assembly (SAGA) is CUA's new Undergraduate Student representation! A body of 28 students from the undergraduate population, led by an internally elected Speaker, works effortlessly to be The Voice of the students, clubs, and campus organizations to the University administration. In conjunction with the new Student Fee Allocation Board (SFAB) and the reorganized ProgamBoard, SAGA and the entire Student Association strives to be the student government the Students want!

What does the General Assembly Do?

SAGA is the advocate for the undergraduate population on campus. Each Delegate elected to the General Assembly (GA) is assigned to an area of University affairs where they feel they can do the most good. Whether it be CPIT, Housing Services, Financial Aid, or Campus Ministry - these delegates are the direct contact between the students and those at the University who make decisions. They are there to express the students concerns, wants, needs, and praise to their respective liasion posts.

What can SAGA do for you?

SAGA can be the catalyst for change at the University. But without active student participation and ethusiastic student support, we cannot grow to our full potential. These 28 students have been elected by their respective classes and are ready and willing to work for you. They have made themselves available to be your loud and effective voice for change at CUA. Your suggestions and your comments through the SAGA "Tell us" program, here on the SAGA Website, is your direct contact from which we can deal with issues as your bring them to us.
